A Reboot, Of Sorts (Or, Why We’re Using A Generic Theme)

Marginalia Studios got off to a sort of sputtering start, but with a new business partnership in the works to help us market our services, things are starting to come together. In order to get ready for this new stage, we’re drawing together and re-working our online presence and our internal structure. The first step in that process is a new website that better tells the story of who we are and what we do, to that end, we’re cleaning out all the crud and starting from scratch.

Since this new design will take some time, I decided to plug our shiny new content into an existing theme for WordPress, our CMS of choice.

And yes, I do think using a Cocoon for this post was terribly clever. Unfortunately I couldn’t find an Actius Luna one to use, but oh well. It’s still green.

New Website Preview

We’re making some progress on the new site and I thought I’d pop in and post a few previews of the new website design.

The home page. We've refined the color pallete we were using and re-worked the logo with a more legible font.

This area will be a slideshow featuring some of our latest work.

The site wouldn't be complete without a little footer blurb now, would it?
